Ambition Assembly Announces Partnership with H&M Clothing

AUSTIN (April 28, 2021) -- Ambition Assembly, a non-profit working to help foster youth become prepared for adulthood, announces new partnership with clothing brand, H&M.

The purpose behind the partnership is to provide the foster community with easy access to basic clothes items they will need for everyday wear and for job interview attire. The nonprofit received clothing items from local donation centers. Teaming up with H&M will help provide new, clean, clothes for the foster youth to have.

“Being partnered with H&M is such an amazing opportunity for our organization. Most foster youth do not have any type of business attire or basic clothing items to help them feel confident in putting their best foot forward.” says CEO and Founder Jillian Scott.

“We are extremely happy to help with providing clothes to Ambition Assembly,” says CEO of H&M, Helena Helmersson. “We have seen the incredible work that being done, and we want to help in any way we can. The vision behind the organization is amazing and truly inspiring to know I can help these foster kids in dressing for success.”

During the month of April, when a customer purchases a pair of jeans or a blouse, we will donate a pair of jeans and/or blouse to the organization. Customers are also encouraged to donate at the register when completing a purchase to the organization.

AUSTIN, Texas (October 12, 2020) -- New non-profit organization ‘Ambition Assembly’ committed to helping foster care youth, announces today its launch in Austin.

The organization focus is on providing financial literacy and educational support for foster care youth, specifically high school kids to help prepare them for the challenges they may face. Volunteers ranges from college advisors, financial advisors, counselors, and fellow high school students to give advice and guidance.

“There has always been something about foster children that have touched my heart, "said Jillian Scott, Founder and President of Ambition Assembly. “I believe that all foster kids should be given the chance to go to college and be given the same steps for success for adult life. Just knowing how so many foster kids exit the system will no help sickens me, and I want to see change for them. Helping them learn how being financial smart in making big decisions like purchasing a car.

According to the National Foster Youth Institute, there is a less 3% percent chance for people who aged out of the system to obtain a college degree at any point in their life. College has always been a tough subject among the foster community due to the hardships of applying, getting tutoring, etc.

College is something that should be a reasonable option for all foster kids even if they don’t choose to go,” Scott said. “I want all foster children to be given the option regardless.”

The vision of Ambition Assembly is to provide financial literacy and educational support to foster youth in all communities.
