WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2021, Ambition Assembly is a new non-profit organization founded in Austin. Ambition Assembly aims to help foster care youth with financial literacy and educational support. Founder Jillian Scott, wanted to shed light on a community that has constantly forgotten about to help give them the support and a voice.
WHAT WE DO
Here at Ambition Assembly, we want to help every foster child become educated and aware of their potential to best they can be. Most foster kids feel left out or not included in learning how to become a proper-functioning adult. We will provide SAT/ACT prep, seminars on personal finance, and an adulting class on becoming independent. We want every child to be given the chance of applying to colleges if they do not choose to go. It's pretty common how foster children aren't prepared in applying to schools, volunteer work, getting the extra help they need to achieve academic success.

Ambition Assembly is an center where foster kids can come and get the extra help they need in all aspects of becoming an adult. We also post videos online to reach our online audience until we are able to open more centers around the country. We hope we can help all foster youth flourish and grow with the tools and resources we can provide with.

I believe that every child no matter what living situation, should have the ability to gain the knowledge on becoming a successful adult.

Vision Statement
To awaken ambition for the foster youth.

The Harsh Realities Of Foster Care
20,000 youth age out of the foster care system between the ages of 18 – 21 annually.

Only 5% of rural foster youth and 21% of urban foster youth report access to a computer at home
Within four years of aging out, 50% have no earnings, and those who do make an average annual income of $7,500.

There are approximately 424,000 foster youth nationwide.
The foster care system underinvests in foster children, contributing less than 50% of what it costs an average American family to raise a child from 0 – 17 years of age.
A Message from Our Founder, Jillian Scott
I created Ambition Assembly after I took interest into the foster care community and soon realized how many foster kids aren't getting enough help for when they age out of the system. I found it unfair that foster children aren't being included in the typical prep of going to college or becoming an adult. I saw an issue and began to help to make an impactful change on this community.
